LA Mediators

Mediators of Southern California

Tomorrow night Mediators' Main Room Gathering here on LA

Lets get together in the comforts of our own homes, offices or wherever you like and where you have access to your computer and your LA Mediators ning Mediators Network to all meet up in the Mediators Main Room.

You may be asking yourself "what is the LA Mediators main room?" It is a room that all us can meet to chat about anything our ADR hearts desire.

Lets try it out okay!

How about if we meet tomorrow evening from 9:00 p.m. to whenever you want. I will be all comfy, with my hot tea in my rocking chair and my laptop in my lap. Ready to welcome whoever can attend this Mediator's chat session.

It's super easy, and I think everyone will enjoy and benefit from this meet-up. All you will need to do is go to and sign in. Once you are signed in look at the bottom of the screen for the "Main Room" box. Click on the box and type in a question or share a recent ADR experience or say "hi" whatever you desire.  It is an open chat session for us all and if you can't make it tomorrow night I will plan another. Actually, anyone can announce an ADR LA Mediators Main Chat session any time!

Remember LA Mediators was originally established to be an open forum where mediators can exchange views, discuss ideas, and explore options to further the interests of mediators.

Lets keep it alive!

I think this would be a nice way for us to get to know one another too. I will provide my cell number to those of you that may experience technical difficulties chatting.

There are 119 members here and each of you have been personally invited and accepted in.

We welcome each of you with open ADR arms and ADR hearts.

I am excited to have this established Mediators' Main Room place to gather to keep the LA Mediators mission alive, and I hope you will be too.

So, do I have any takers for tomorrow night mediator's brief gathering here 9:00 p.m?It will be a trial chat run..

If you can make it then please post a comment below or send me an e-mail at or text my cell at 909.660.0601 or just drop in, and leave your shoes off.

Looking forward to some nice ADR chat with you tomorrow night at 9:00 p.m.

Kym - a bunch of us will be at the Westside Study Session at Wendy Kramer's office tonight, which is scheduled to go until about 8:00 p.m. I will do my best to get back to my computer by 9:00 p.m. to try this out. Sounds like a fun idea!!

Kym -- sorry I missed the soiree - how did it go? Glenn

This program is a practical training course. While covering theory to give you a framework and the intellectual understanding of negotiation and mediation, this course is about learning. Our focus is on your doing, practicing and experimenting with negotiating and mediating. There is much to teach about mediation and negotiation, but one reason mediators fail is because they understand the theory, but cannot execute it when under the gun. In this course, you will mediate and negotiate your way…See More

We volunteer and we gripe.  We go to “networking” events, and don’t feel comfortable there or don’t know what to do.  Many of those trying to establish a career in mediation come from prior careers in law, mental health or education.  These three careers are among the weakest at marketing and self-promotion.  Our industry suffers unnecessarily because so many are highly skilled at mediating, and yet lack the skills that enable them to secure the opportunity to actually mediate.  In this course,…See More
